Our Cabin Crew are the public face of the airline. The role is high-profile and rewarding. Eligibility and Selection
To be part of our team, we are looking for the following attributes:
- For safety reasons, candidates will need to meet height requirements of 1.58m
- 18 years of age and above
- Attained at least 4 ’N’ Levels or 3 'O' Levels credits with a credit in English
- Diploma / Degree holder are welcomed to apply
- Completed NS service for male candidates
- Willing to work irregular hours and on weekends, based on flight schedule
- Possess good communication skills and a team player
- Have a flair for sales
- Pleasant and have a "Can do" attitude
For candidates with at least 3 years of past working experience as a Cabin Crew, you can be considered for contract crew positions.
Finding the best candidates takes time, so there are many stages to the Jetstar cabin crew recruitment and assessment process.
Candidates will be invited to an assessment centre whereby you will experience the life of a cabin crew. There are many aspects that we take into consideration, so in order to be successful, you will need to be present at every stage of the assessment process.
Successful candidates will be offered the role subject to pre-employment requirements.
Training
If you are a successful applicant, you will need to undergo a comprehensive initial training programme.
The programme covers a variety of topics including customer service, grooming, aircraft and personal safety, medical aviation and emergency procedures.
The training is intensive, but it is delivered in a fun and informative way by experienced trainers in a group environment with your new colleagues. It will ensure that you are confident and ready to take to the skies.
If you need to relocate to Singapore, you must secure your accommodation before you start the training. Jetstar is unable to assist with relocation or accommodation costs.
